Notre Dame vs. Army Preview
The Irish are coming off a 35-14 over Virginia on Senior Day and play in a neutral site matchup against the Black Knights at Yankee Stadium. Army is undefeated and coming off a bye week after a 14-3 win at North Texas. The Black Knights have largely dominated their schedule, but at the same time have played a very weak schedule. The schedule has featured just 2 teams that have winning records with 1 being a Division 1-AA team in Lehigh. Of the remaining 7 teams played, all but North Texas have a losing record and have either 2 or 3 wins as of writing.
Notre Dame vs. Virginia Preview
The Irish are coming off an impressive 52-3 win over Florida State where after they allowed them to score 3 points on there opening drive would not score again. The Cavaliers are coming off a 24-19 upset win at Pittsburgh to put them at 5-4 this season. The Irish continue to play very well on both offense and defense. With the importance of this game also being Senior Day, getting off to a strong start will be important.
Notre Dame vs. Florida State Preview
The Irish return home after an impressive win against Navy in a neutral site matchup and the second bye week of the season. Florida State is coming off a home loss to North Carolina and is now 1-8 on the season. They have only played 3 games outside of Florida and only 1 game since late September and this will most likely have the lowest temperature at kickoff that they will experience as well.
Notre Dame vs. Navy Preview
The Irish are coming off a solid 31-13 win over Georgia Tech in a neutral site matchup and are playing another neutral site matchup. Navy comes in undefeated and has a strong offense that is excellent on the ground and (considering they are a service academy) an improved passing offense. Navy has been nearly unchallenged so far this season with the best win being a 56-44 home win over Memphis (which is their only loss).
Notre Dame vs. Georgia Tech Preview
The Irish are coming off a balanced performance where they defeated Stanford 49-7 to complete a stretch of 3 consecutive home games. Now the Irish play in the first of 2 consecutive neutral site games before the second bye week. Georgia Tech is coming off a 41-34 win at North Carolina which saw quarterback Haynes King get injured late in the game.
Notre Dame vs. Stanford Preview
The Irish are coming off the first bye week of the season after defeating Louisville 31-24 in the second of three consecutive home games. Stanford is coming off a 7-31 home loss and currently sit at 2-3 this season. One important thing to note with the Cardinal is that this will be the third trip so far this season to the Eastern Time Zone and will have done so 3 out of the last 4 weeks.
Notre Dame vs. Louisville Preview
Louisville won their conference opener after impressively beating two weaker opponents, but will be playing on the road for the first time this season after opening with three home games. This is the green out week for the Irish and the Irish will come out in the green jerseys. Hopefully the fans will wear green and make it challenging on the visitor while causing them a lot of false starts and early timeouts.
Notre Dame vs. Miami OH Preview
The Irish are coming off an impressive 66-7 win at Purdue and are facing the second team from the MAC that they will face this season in Miami. The RedHawks are coming off a 16-27 loss against Cincinnati and have had some troubles offensively by struggling to run the ball while heavily favoring the pass. Even though the Irish had injury issues in the win at Purdue, the players that stepped up certainly stepped up.
